Requirements
Kosmos runs on iPhone with iOS 26 or later. It needs no account. Texts, places and questions are on the device; an internet connection is needed to load photos and maps.
Using the app
Atlas shows the sites on the map: featured ones in orange, the rest grouped in clusters that open as you zoom in. Tap a site, or one of the shortcuts at the bottom, to open its entry. Enigmas gathers myths and texts, out-of-place artifacts, the trivia and map mode. Cosmism covers the thinkers and the timeline to Sputnik. Search finds anything by name or by words in its texts. In every entry, switch between The theory, The evidence and Cosmist lens, and tap the image to see it full screen.
Frequently asked questions
Does Kosmos say that ancient astronauts are real?
No. The theory layer reports what specific authors have claimed, attributed to them, and the evidence layer sets out what archaeology and history have established. The app is meant for comparing both and drawing your own conclusions.
I found an error in an entry.
Thank you. Many texts were drafted with the help of artificial intelligence from public sources and then edited, and errors can slip through. Write to support@priet.us with the entry and, if possible, a source, and we will correct it in the next update.
Photos or maps do not load.
They come from Wikimedia Commons and Apple Maps, so they need an internet connection. Texts and questions work without one.
Some sites have no theory layer.
That is deliberate. The theory layer only appears when there are documented alternative claims about that specific place. For most sites there are none, and the entry shows the evidence and the cosmist lens.
Where do the images come from?
From Wikimedia Commons. Each one is shown with its author and license; tap the credit under the image to see its original page.
How do I change the app's language?
Kosmos is in English and Spanish and follows your iPhone's language. To use a different one for Kosmos only, open Settings › Apps › Kosmos › Language.
Can I reset my trivia records?
Your records are stored only on your device. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app resets them.
Does the app send my data anywhere?
No. See the privacy policy.

Cómo se usa
Atlas muestra los lugares en el mapa: los destacados en naranja y el resto agrupados en racimos que se abren al acercarte. Toca un lugar, o uno de los accesos de abajo, para abrir su ficha. Enigmas reúne mitos y textos, objetos fuera de lugar, el trivia y el modo mapa. Cosmismo recoge los pensadores y la línea temporal hasta el Sputnik. Buscar encuentra cualquier cosa por su nombre o por palabras de sus textos. En cada ficha cambia entre La teoría, La evidencia y Mirada cosmista, y toca la imagen para verla a pantalla completa.
Preguntas frecuentes
¿Kosmos dice que los antiguos astronautas existieron?
No. La capa de teoría recoge lo que han afirmado autores concretos, atribuido a ellos, y la de evidencia expone lo que han establecido la arqueología y la historia. La app está pensada para comparar ambas y sacar tus propias conclusiones.
He encontrado un error en una ficha.
Gracias. Muchos textos se redactaron con ayuda de inteligencia artificial a partir de fuentes públicas y después se editaron, y pueden colarse errores. Escribe a support@priet.us con la ficha y, si puedes, una fuente, y lo corregiremos en la próxima actualización.
No cargan las fotos o los mapas.
Vienen de Wikimedia Commons y de Apple Maps, así que necesitan conexión. Los textos y las preguntas funcionan sin ella.
Algunos lugares no tienen capa de teoría.
Es intencionado. La capa de teoría solo aparece cuando hay afirmaciones alternativas documentadas sobre ese lugar concreto. La mayoría no las tiene, y la ficha muestra la evidencia y la mirada cosmista.
¿De dónde salen las imágenes?
De Wikimedia Commons. Cada una se muestra con su autor y su licencia; toca el crédito bajo la imagen para ver su página original.
¿Cómo cambio el idioma de la app?
Kosmos está en español e inglés y sigue el idioma del iPhone. Para usar otro solo en Kosmos, abre Ajustes › Apps › Kosmos › Idioma.
¿Puedo borrar mis récords del trivia?
Tus récords se guardan solo en tu dispositivo. Al desinstalar y volver a instalar la app se reinician.
¿La app envía mis datos a algún sitio?
No. Lee la política de privacidad.
